The Nomadic Experience - Freedom to Explore

How you travel is just as important as where you go. At Nomadic Scotland we believe that the best adventures happen when you slow down, take the scenic route and leave room for the unexpected.

That’s why we’ve built our business around giving you the freedom to explore Scotland on your own terms. Whether you’re chasing mountain roads, hidden beaches, remote campsites or cosy Highland hotels, our adventure-ready vehicles are designed to help you get there comfortably and confidently.

To make things as easy as possible, we offer collection and drop-off services from nearby airports and train stations. During quieter periods we are also happy to deliver your car directly to the airport or your hotel.

Every vehicle handover is thorough and unhurried. Ensuring you have plenty of time to get familiar with your vehicle, equipment and route before setting off. We also offer a range of optional extras to help tailor your trip even further.

Our fleet of vehicles

Our fleet features a carefully selected range of Land Rover Defenders, from characterful classics to modern models built for long days on Scotland’s roads. Whether you’re exploring remote Highland glens, winding coastal routes or island roads, these iconic 4x4s are ready for the adventure.

Alongside the Defender range, we also offer the Suzuki Jimny – a compact and capable 4×4 that’s perfectly suited to Scotland’s narrower roads. A favourite for couples and friends travelling together, the Jimny delivers plenty of character in a smaller package.

Testimonials

I just loved, loved my 10 days in Scotland with my Nomadic Discovery. The car actually felt like mine and I really didn’t want to give her back. An enormous thank you to Nomadic Scotland for everything. I was so impressed with the state of the vehicle exterior, the cleanliness of the interior and how well equipped the camping pack was. Everything I needed, and nothing I didn’t. Many companies are great to deal with pre-sale, but the service and care provided by you and Sam continued through to vehicle pickup, during my trip (thank you for the weather updates!) and even after I’d dropped the vehicle off. Looking forward to returning. No better way to travel Scotland.
