Highly recommended renting through Michael – his Defender 110 had the perfect outfit for a 2 week road trip through the Outer Hebrides! Also, he provided some nice kit to go along with the rental in case you don’t have all the gear for a camping trip.

Just returned from a great 6 day tour up the West Coast. Skye was Skye (heavy rain and very strong wind), however the iKamper rooftent was fantastic – but the weather improved in Applecross and up to Lochinver. I am a wee bit particular when it comes to where I sleep and had visions of spending 5 sleepless nights on the top of a Landrover – but the opposite was true – I slept great. There was loads of space for two adults and a 9 year old (and it´ll easily take 4) and the mattress was surprisingly comfy. We all loved the week and it was a real adventure – giving us freedom to roam. The Landrover, Rooftent and service from Nomadic were all excellent. So I can recommend this to anyone wishing a cool holiday to remember-
Highly recommended, great communication from the start. The LandRover is fantastic, well equipped and easy to drive. I took the kids away and we had a great time at one of their private camping spots.
Excellent trip up the Scottish coast. Super car to drive the Highlands in, very easy to set the tent up and friendly chap running the place. Will definitely do it again, great fun.
A fantastic 4 days on the west coast. Vehicle was great and well kitted out. Michael was very helpful and booking, pick up and drop off process very smooth. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful week touring the Islands and Highlands in the Defender 110 pick-up with iKamper roof tent. The Defender was fun to drive and comfortable for the 1,000+ miles we covered. The tent was incredibly easy to put up and take down and meant we were able to access beautiful informal camping spots, off the beaten track.
The vehicle was equipped with everything we needed, and more (from gas cooker + pots, through to hair dryer) and the option of hiring bikes too was a great addition and gave us extra flexibility to explore.
Overall, a great way to explore Scotland – camping revolutionised!
Absolute joy to use. The land rovers are fully equipped for the outdoors and a pleasure to drive. Hiring from nomadic Scotland was easy and straightforward and I felt I could get in touch if anything went wrong. But in this case nothing did. I’ll definitely hire from Nomadic Scotland again
One of the most amazing experiences. The freedom you get with having a go anywhere vehicle fully kitted out with everything you will need combined with the ability to wild camp anywhere in Scotland – is truly magical. Michael could not have been more helpful from start to finish including recommending some epic drives and camping spots. Unforgettable holiday – thoroughly recommended.
We hired the pickup for 4 days and decided to tackle the North Coast 500. It’s something we had talked about doing for a while and we decided what better way to do it than with a Defender. The truck was comfy, well equipped and immaculate. We loved the wild camping and the roof tent was super easy to put up and down. The Defender made light work of the hilly terrain and we were the envy of the other drivers on the roads. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed 4 days of sunshine soaking in some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen ????????. Michael has really thought about every detail to make sure you have the best trip ever. Not only was the vehicle perfect but the booking and communication was also seamless! Already looking at booking out next trip!

The collection of the vehicle was simple plus some suggestions and knowledge of routes. simple instructions for assembling the massive roof tent. We would highly recommend. Very happy.
What an adventure! Made some real lifetime memories. Massive thanks to Nomadic Scotland and could not recommend them enough. As a group of three young women we hired the 110 pick up wagon for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect for us. The tent was so easy to put up and pack away and we were all shocked at how comfy and dark it was, and really kept out the cold. The awning was also easy and gave a great amount of shelter from rain. The car itself was so fun and easy to drive, and full of equipment to serve all of your camping needs – easy enough to cook up a storm in the wilderness. Communication was also great. Michael definitely went the extra mile sharing lots of recommendations for camping spots and walks, responding to any questions we had throughout our trip. We really were the envy of the roads and will definitely be doing this again and seeing more of such a beautiful country thanks again!
